Koncho & Co
Koncho and Company LLC is a subsidiary company of JSC Corporation Kindzmarauli. On September 18, 2001, JSC Corporation Kindzmarauli founded Koncho and Company LLC with the aim of producing and selling high-quality valuable wines. The word “Koncho” in Old Georgian means “a cross” and is the stem of the word denoting the Konchoshvili family name. The history of the Konchoshvili wine cellar dates back to 1737 when the royal cellarman of Kakhetian King Teimuraz II main winemaker Kakhaber Konchoshvili founded a wine cellar where the traditional Kakhetian wines and varieties of chacha were produced and sold, and which was functioning until the end of the 20th century, first in the village Sabue, then in Kvareli.
Koncho and Company owns the best vineyards in the classic / traditional microzones of Kindzmarauli and Kvareli viticulture. The vineyards are laid out in the valleys / on the land plots where the Duruji River used to run, so the soil is very rich in black shale, with a high concentration of carbonates below the depth of 8-10m from the earth’s surface, which completely distinguishes the wines of Koncho and Company from all others. The wines of Koncho and Company are sold in 15 countries around the world and have a high reputation and credibility everywhere.
The strategy of Koncho and Company LLC is to find and cultivate extinct and endangered Georgian indigenous vine varieties and produce the exclusive wines from grapes harvested in these vineyards.
Koncho and Company LLC is fully focused on producing and selling the elite wines, popularizing Georgian vine varieties and wines around the world.

The mission of Ltd “Koncho & Co.” is to produce wine, chacha vodka and brandy from high quality and harmless raw materials in compliance with the legal norms, which always meets the customer’s expectations.
Our vision for food safety is as follows:
- To be a guarantor of stability, safety, quality and to have a leading position in alcohol production segment;
- Permanently improving: the efficiency of food safety management system (PDCA), focus on customers, staff proactivity, emergency management, the protection from food fraud (FF) and deliberate damage (FD), tracking and recall procedures, based on quality and food safety assurance strategy, proper planning, implementation, audit, analysis, continuous improvement of the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.
